The Itinerary

Day01: Airport/Negombo

You will be met at the airport and transferred to Negombo. Check in at Rani Beach Hotel for Overnight stay .If the arrival is during the day there is an opportunity to do a sightseeing tour of Negombo.

Day02: Pinnawala/Sigiriya

Morning departure for Pinnawala elephant orphanage. See the elephants being cared for, fed and bathed. Proceed from Pinnawala to Sigiriya. Climb the Sigiriya rock fortress, built in the 5th Century AD and rising 200 meters. Visit the frescoes of the 'Heavenly Maidens' of Sigiriya, approached by a spiral stairway. Overnight stay at Giritale Hotel - Giritale

Day03: Polonnaruwa

Morning departure to Polonnaruwa, built in the 11th and 12th Centuries AD. Visit the many ruins found here. Rest of the day at leisure or optional you can visit Minneriya National Park or Kaudulla National Park mainly you can see Elephants and some birds. Stay overnight at Giritale Hotel - Giritale

Day04: Dambulla/Matale/Kandy

Morning departure for Dambulla Rock Temple, Sri Lanka's most impressive cave temple which contains many paintings and carvings. Travel from Dambulla to Kandy via Matale. In Matale visit a spice garden to see how they are grown and processed. Continue from Matale to Kandy, Drive around the lake, built in 1807 and visit Kandy town and its many attractions. In the evening visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and a cultural show featuring traditional Sri Lankan dancing.  Stay overnight at Devon Hotel - Kandy

Day05: Kandy/Peradeniya
Morning visit the outskirts of Kandy visiting the 60 hectare botanical gardens. Return from Peradeniya to Kandy and continue with a city tour of Kandy if you like you can visit Gem, Batik and Wood carving factories here. Stay overnight at Devon Hotel - Kandy

 

Day06: Kandy/Nuwara Eliya/Ella
Travel to Nuwara Eliya on the way visiting the waterfalls Tea plantations, Tea factory and visit the Nuwara Eliya City and then travel to Ella. If you want to for the experience you can go on the train to Ella and see the very beautiful scenery. Overnight stay in Ella Gap Panorama hotel Or Mountain Heaven Hotel –Ella

Day 07: Ella

You can see the sun rise from the room. If you like you can do some small trekking to the mini Adams peak and walk to the water fall, maybe explore the Ella Village or you can just rest and see the magnificent views of the mountains. Overnight stay in Ella Gap Panorama Hotel Or Mountain Heaven-Ella

Day 8: Ella/Thissamaharamaya.
We travel to Thissamaharamaya. On the way visit the Buduruwagala (Buddha Images Carved on the rock) then go to Tissa and check in the hotel and start the afternoon Safari 2.30pm. Overnight stay in Hibiscus Garden Hotel -Tissamaharamaya

Day 9: Thissamaharamaya/Mirissa
Travel to your Mirissa for Beach stay On the way visiting the Blow hole, Overnight stay Mirissa Paradise Hotel - Mirissa.

 

Day 10 and 11: Mirissa
A/M P/M At Leisure by the swimming pool or by the beach Optional – it can be arranged for you to go and see the Dolphin and Whales

                    
Day 12:Mirissa/Negombo
This day we travel to Negombo on the way we can see the Stilt Fisherman, visit the Turtle farm, Galle Dutch fortress and sightseeing  in Colombo.   
Overnight stay in Negombo Rani Beach Hotel.

Transfer to the Airport to catch your flight

End of the Tour
